TRACER Coach Profile

Meet Coach Jazmine

I’m a professional trail and ultrarunner, certified endurance coach, and former biologist with a passion for helping runners become stronger, healthier, and more resilient—not just faster.

Over the past several years I’ve competed at the highest levels of mountain and ultrarunning, earning victories and podium finishes at races such as Canyons 100K (Course Record), Ultra-Trail Cape Town, Speedgoat 50K, and TransGranCanaria, along with top finishes at the UTMB World Series. But my greatest education hasn’t come from race results alone, it has come from years of studying the science of endurance performance and learning firsthand what it takes to navigate injury, setbacks, RED-S, recovery, and sustainable high performance.

My coaching philosophy is simple: train the whole athlete.

Running is only one piece of performance. The athletes I coach receive guidance that extends beyond mileage and workouts into strength training, nutrition, recovery, mental performance, injury prevention, race strategy, and building a healthy relationship with training. I believe long-term success comes from balancing performance with health, consistency, and enjoyment.

Every athlete is different. Your training should reflect your physiology, your lifestyle, your goals, and the realities of your work, family, travel, and stress. Whether you’re preparing for your first trail race or chasing a podium at an ultramarathon, my goal is to create a program that fits your life while helping you reach your highest potential.

My coaching combines:

  • Evidence-based endurance training

  • Individualized running and strength programming

  • Daily nutrition and training fueling strategies

  • Injury prevention and return-to-running guidance

  • Mental performance and confidence development

  • Race planning, pacing, and execution

  • Energy monitoring

I hold certifications as a UESCA Ultra Running Coach, UESCA Endurance Nutrition Coach, UESCA Sports Psychology Specialist, Pain-Free Performance Specialist, and have additional education in pelvic floor function and biomechanics. My academic background is a Bachelor of Science in Biology, which continues to shape the scientific approach I bring to coaching.

Above all, I want athletes to become confident, self-aware runners who understand why they’re training, not just what they’re doing. My goal isn’t simply to help you achieve your next race result. It’s to help you build a sustainable foundation that allows you to enjoy running, continue improving, and perform at your best for years to come.
